Orchard Worker (Seasonal Role)
We’re looking for energetic and reliable orchard workers to help us with seasonal fruit harvests. You’ll be part of the team harvesting fruit. Work will be weather-dependent, averaging 3-5 days per week. This position runs from early October through late November 2025, and again from mid-February through mid-June 2026.
Key responsibilities:
Harvesting feijoas and grapefruit with care and efficiency
Working safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
Supporting general orchard tasks as required
Ideal candidate:
Physically fit and able to handle outdoor, active work and heavy lifting
Reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions plus work flexible hours depending on weather
Enjoys working independently and as part of a team environment
Based in Auckland, fluent in English

Sales Representative (Part-Time, with potential to Full-Time)
We’re seeking a motivated and people-focused Sales Representative to help share our products with our trade customers. This role involves sales calls, in-person customer engagement, some in-store demonstrations and some trade-show events (mostly within the Auckland area). This is a part-time role to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
Key responsibilities:
Conducting sales calls and visiting trade customers.
Building strong customer relationships within our trade sector
Hosting in-store demonstrations
Representing LW at events, markets, and trade-shows
Ideal candidate:
Sales, retail and customer service experience preferred especially within wine & alcohol management.
Confident, friendly, and comfortable talking to people
Self-motivated and reliable, with good organisational skills
Flexible schedule to attend trade events and in-store demonstrations
Based in Auckland, fluent in English

Orchard Manager (Part-Time, with potential to Full-Time)
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping grounds healthy and well-maintained. As Orchard Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the Lothlorien Winery orchards and grounds year-round, overseeing seasonal tasks, and managing harvest crews during our busy picking seasons. This is a hands-on role that requires both practical orchard skills and the ability to lead a small team. Initially part-time, with the aim of growing into a full-time position.
Key responsibilities:
Year-round maintenance of orchards and winery grounds
Coordinating and supervising seasonal picking teams
Monitoring orchard health, growth, and seasonal requirements
General upkeep to keep the property in top condition
Ideal candidate:
Previous orchard, horticultural, or farm management experience preferred
Practical, reliable, and organised with good communication skills
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons plus heavy lifting
Enjoys both hands-on work and team leadership
Based in Auckland, fluent in English

Trade Show & In-Store Demonstrator (Casual/Part-Time)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and approachable person to represent Lothlorien Winery at trade shows, markets, and in-store tasting events. You’ll be the friendly face engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and offering samples. This role is ideal for someone confident, reliable, and who enjoys talking with people especially within ALC. Hours will vary depending on events, mostly in the Auckland area.
Key responsibilities:
Hosting tastings and demonstrations in retail stores, at trade shows and markets
Engaging directly with customers, answering questions, and promoting sales
Representing Lothlorien Winery with professionalism and enthusiasm
Helping set up and pack down event stands
Ideal candidate:
Confident, outgoing, and comfortable talking to new people
Previous retail, hospitality and events experience within alcohol management and sales is an advantage
Reliable and organised, with good presentation skills
Flexible to work weekends or evenings when events are scheduled
We are looking for persons based in main city areas, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
