2016 June Juicing 21-Jun-2016
Lothlorien has just finished up the last of the feijoa picking and juicing season. We have had a great juice yield from the fruit this year and are excited about the quality of this vintage. The winemaking process takes about six months before it is ready for bottling. Autumn is coming to an end and winter is setting in, we have already had a light frost! The orchard is set to roll on with pruning and orchard maintenance.
Our next big event is the Fine Food Show in Aukland, coming up in the next week. An expo dedicated to retail and wholesalers connecting with products such as ourselves.
We will connect with new retailers to make our wine, liqueur and juices more readily available around New Zealand.
